Michael is an inspector with NextDay Inspect®. Originally from Idaho, Michael moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia and is now a resident of Spotsylvania County in Virginia. In addition to being a licensed home inspector in Virginia, Michael is an Army Veteran who worked as an aircraft mechanic both overseas and domestically. He’s held jobs in fiber optic cabling and pest control, but wanted to begin performing home inspections to provide more value to clients and provide them with the necessary information about the condition of their home. As a lifelong learner, Michael is currently studying part-time as a student in Economics.

Michael R Hales was very punctual, kind and above all very detailed. Each observations and recommendations had a photograph attached to the report. He came very well prepared with all his tools and the report was sent in less than 24 hours very detailed and easy to understand. I definitely recommend it a lot!

Michael, our inspector, was on time and super professional. He really went the extra mile to explain things to my husband and I as a first time home buyer. At the end of a thorough inspection I was surprised that he gave a booklet which gave advice on home ownership and maintenance of my new place. I hope to read it from top to bottom once I settle in!

The inspection I received was incredibly detailed and Michael took his time and explained all along the way. Sure I could have not gone and let my real estate agent handle it but I just learned so much being there. It was a big place and a 4 plus hour inspection and not a single detail was missed. I could not be more satisfied!
